Daniele Spadavecchia was born and raised in Alessandria, Italy. He started studying guitar at the age of 16 as a self-taught. Soon after, he realized music was his call and started taking taking private guitar and singing lessons. He has been performing professionally since 1992, and teaching guitar since 1993.


His charming and joyful presence on stage brings the listener into the musical journey Daniele went through during his life. He gained deep knowledge of blues and R&B, traditional jazz, gypsy jazz, and also all that relates to the Mediterranean basin, including his Italian roots, classical and flamenco.


He performed for 14 years in Italy, from the Alps to Naples before moving to New Orleans in 2002, where he lived until Hurricane Katrina hit. Before relocating to San Diego in 2007, he also lived in Scottsdale, Az.


Daniele has taken part in many important events including the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival, New Orleans French Quarter Festival, Italian American festivals in Washington DC, New Orleans and San Diego, along with numerous radio and TV appearances.
